                   Territorial Acceptance Requirements Act of 2023

             ~ Preamble of the Territorial Acceptance Requirements Act also the Long Title of the Territorial Acceptance Requirements Act ~

Following the Supreme Court of Salanda’s ruling on the 30th of August 2022,  the Government of Salanda will now introduce a framework for the acceptance of places the wish to aspire to be a territory of Salanda as well as places which eventually aspire to be a province of Salanda.

~ Section One - Access to Physical Land and Operations ~

The place shall have to have access to physical land which shall be under the sovereignty of Salanda permanently and must have acceptable land claims as well as citizenship claims that shall be evaluated by the Government of Salanda in order to be a territory of Salanda and shall have to have the aspirations to be able to constantly run itself and be able to partially run itself under a Salandarian Sovereignty.

       ~ Section Two - Naming Requirements ~

The place of the territory has to be a unique name in that it is not used interchangeably with fictional places but is unique to that place only unless it can provide an statement if it has a name that is also used for a fictional place but wants to justify why it has that name of which the Government of Salanda shall evaluate that statement and choose whether to accept the place as territory of Salanda or not.

~ Section Three - Submission to Salandarian Sovereignty ~

The place must swear loyalty to the Constitution of Salanda (Basic Foundation Laws) in order to become a Territory of Salanda, once it has become a Territory of Salanda it shall remain under permanent Salandarian Sovereignty in line with the Constitution of Salanda (Basic Foundation Laws). Negotiations with regard to laws of Salanda and foreign policy at a national level shall be held with the Government of Salanda should the place wish to be an autonomous territory.

~ Section Four - Joining Salanda under Salandarian Sovereignty ~

A place wishing to be a part of Salanda cannot become a province automatically but must first become a territory and then after the Government of Salanda can decide whether or not to accept it as province of Salanda.

~ Section Five - Application of this Act of Tepoelan ~

This Act of Tepoelan does not apply to territories made before the 25 March 2023, who have their own treaties made and formalized with the Government of Salanda.

~ Section Six – Entry of this Act of Tepoelan into the Law of Salanda ~

This Act of Tepoelan shall become effective as a law of Salanda upon the signing of this Act of Tepoelan after being passed by the Chamber of Provincial Emissary of the Tepoelan and as such this Act of Tepoelan shall become enforceable as a law of Salanda upon the Royal Seal of Salanda being placed upon this Act of Tepoelan.

                        ~ Section Seven  – Status of this Act of Tepoelan as a Law of Salanda ~

This Act of Tepoelan cannot be repealed or amended by an Executive Order of Salanda and as such can only be repealed or amended by another Act of Tepoelan or by an Amendment to the Constitution of Salanda also known as the Basic Foundation Laws (of Salanda).
