 ~ Salanda Freedom of Expression Act of 2025 ~

The Kingdom of Salanda will abolish the legal concept of defamation, including both libel and slander, to provide the fullest possible protection for freedom of expression.

The courts of the Kingdom of Salanda will no longer recognize or entertain any civil or criminal cause of action based on loss of or damage to reputation.

This Act provides no protection for and does not affect existing or future laws concerning incitement to violence, harassment, sedition, or speech intended to provoke racial or religious hatred.

The sole purpose of this Act is to ensure that public debate, criticism, and commentary may be conducted without fear of legal action for defamation.
