Treaty with the Principality of Solarys
~ Treaty of Diplomatic Relations between the Kingdom of Salanda and the Principality of Solarys ~
~ Preamble ~
This treaty establishes official diplomatic relations between the Kingdom of Salanda and the Principality of Solarys on the day of [insert date], with the mutual recognition, between both of the nations as sovereign, free and independent nations with the mutual recognition between both nation’s pertaining as well to each nation that as a sovereign independent state both nations are capable of establishing foreign relations, declaring war, concluding peace, establish commerce, contract alliances, and do any other acts that are widely recognized by sovereign states and/or nations as necessary for a government to be recognized as the government of an independent and sovereign state.
Article I
It is mandated that the Kingdom of Salanda and the Principality of Solarys mutually respect the institutions, laws, claimed territories and the citizenship of both the signatory states and their citizens (As part of the establishment of official diplomatic relations between the two nations).
Article II
Both the Kingdom of Salanda and the Principality of Solarys shall be able to work and will be able as a consequence of this treaty to enter a special partnership on projects with the other. Both shall be able as well as bound by this treaty to work on collaborating with one another on minor projects (with minor projects being defined as projects not lasting more than a week) and shall have an exclusive relationship should both nations collaborate on major projects which are defined as an outcome with both nations working together to try and produce that outcome (for example: economic development programs and climate change prevention programs) that are proposed by one another with the projects falling in the boundaries as defined by this treaty. All projects proposed by both nations are non-mandatory, but by working together on these types of projects, this treaty stipulates that it hopes that the mutual benefit which will contribute to the further strengthening of ties between both nations. (These projects shall be stipulated in future documents that come about as a result of this treaty).
Article III
The Kingdom of Salanda and the Principality of Solarys shall undertake the extension of their corporate and cultural relations by promoting cultural collaborations (For example: Sister City Agreements between the Cities of both nations) between one another, supporting each other in foreign policy, unless there is a state of conflict based on each nation’s own fundamental principles.
Article IV
It is with positive intentions that both nations align in mutual recognition, alliance, friendship and collaboration and that the treaty may be modified as well as extended with the consensus of both parties.
