~ Preamble/Definition and Long Title of the Principality of Longobardo into Salanda as a Territory of Salanda Act of 2023 ~
This Act of Tepoelan by resolution of the Chamber of Provincial Emissary shall be defined/have its long title as: An Act of Tepoelan to make provision for the annexation and incorporation of the Principality of Longobardo into Salanda as a Territory of Salanda.
~ Section One - Annexation and Incorporation of the Principality of Longobardo into Salanda as a Territory of Salanda ~
Upon this Act of Tepoelan being granted royal assent (I.e, this Act of Tepoelan’s signing by the Incumbent Monarch of Salanda and sealing with the Royal Seal of Salanda by the Incumbent Monarch of Salanda) by the Incumbent Monarch of (the Kingdom of) Salanda, the Principality of Longobardo shall be annexed and incorporated into Salanda as a Territory of Salanda, with the Incumbent Monarch of Salanda being the Incumbent Monarch of the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda, this shall also be the case with the central government in Suveste positions, such as the Prime Minister of (the Kingdom of) Salanda and the Chancellor of the Exchequer of (the Kingdom of) Salanda for example, however any local government in the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda shall not be given this same treatment in reverse with any positions representing the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda remains in the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda.
Representing the Crown of Salanda and central government in Suveste shall be the Governor-General of the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda who shall make territorial laws relating to the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda and also has the ability to draft a territorial constitution of Longobardo which shall be under the framework of the Constitution of Salanda (Basic Foundation Laws of Salanda).
Upon becoming a part of Salanda as a Territory of Salanda, the Principality of Longobardo’s official name shall be the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda, which in official governmental documents can be shortened to the Territory of Longobardo, or just Longobardo for connected purposes.
~ Section Two - Sovereignty of Longobardo ~
As such upon annexation, sovereignty of Longobardo shall be transferred to Salanda and as such Salanda has complete sovereignty over Longobardo, for the benefits of Longobardo at the behalf of the Prime Minister of Salanda, through Executive Orders of Salanda can transfer sovereign land of Salanda that is owned by the central government in Suveste and is not appropriated already to any existing Province or Territory.
The Sovereignty of Longobardo (I.e, Longobardo) shall be Salanda’s perpetuity and as such Longobardo shall forever remain a part of Salanda and cannot break away from Salanda, in line with the Constitution of Salanda (Basic Foundation Laws of Salanda).
Longobardo shall be able to be upgraded to a Province of Salanda, or can join as part of an existing Province of Salanda, through an Act of Tepoelan or by an Amendment to the Constitution of Salanda (Basic Foundation Laws of Salanda), which shall be done through a referendum before going to ratification of any such Act of Tepoelan or by an Amendment to the Constitution of Salanda (Basic Foundation Laws of Salanda) by the Chamber of Provincial Emissary of the Tepoelan. Executive Orders of Salanda are forbidden likewise to have the power to upgrade Longobardo to a Province of Salanda or join it to an existing Province of Salanda and only an Act of Tepoelan or by an Amendment to the Constitution of Salanda (Basic Foundation Laws of Salanda) have the ability to do so, with any other means of upgrading Longobardo to a Province of Salanda or joining it to an existing Province of Salanda shall be declared null and void under this Act of Tepoelan and illegal.
~ Section Three - Foreign Policy and Defence of the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda ~
All foreign policy and defence matters related to Longobardo shall be handled solely by the central government in Suveste, though this Act of Tepoelan can be amended by future Acts of Tepoelan to increase any foreign policy roles that Longobardo officially the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda is to have should an Act of Tepoelan of the matter amend this one.
~ Section Four - Benefits for the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda ~
Aside from being bestowed land by the central government of Suveste as a part of Salanda as in Section Two of this Act of Tepoelan, the Territory of Longobardo of Salanda shall also receive some of these outstanding benefits:
The central government in Suveste shall help provide for Longobardo by helping in its culture thrive in Salanda and investing in it as much as possible in as well as providing development in all forms for Longobardo as a part of Salanda.
The central government in Suveste shall also help with the structural frameworks of Longobardo as a part of Salanda and provide for it as a part of Salanda.
~ Section Five - Entry of this Act of Tepoelan into the Law of Salanda ~
This Act of Tepoelan shall become effective as a law of Salanda upon the signing of this Act of Tepoelan after being passed by the Chamber of Provincial Emissary of the Tepoelan and as such this Act of Tepoelan shall become enforceable as a law of Salanda upon the Royal Seal of Salanda being placed on this Act of Tepoelan.
~ Section Six - Status of this Act of Tepoelan ~
This Act of Tepoelan cannot be repealed or amended by an Executive Order of Salanda and as such can only be repealed or amended by another Act of Tepoelan or by an Amendment to the Constitution of Salanda also known as the Basic Foundation Laws (of Salanda).
