Chief Moderator Removal Mechanism Act of 2026 Chief Moderator Removal Mechanism Act of 2026 (Reference Number: PER 45, CR53) ~ Act of Tepoelan ~ ~ Chief Moderator Removal Mechanism Act of 2026 ~ Preamble/Definition of this Act of Tepoelan: An Act of Tepoelan to create the provision for the mechanism to remove the Chief Moderator and Deputy Chief Moderator in light of the Supreme Court of Salanda’s ruling. ~ Section One - How the Chief Moderator is removed ~ [Clause One] - A sole mechanism to remove the Chief Moderator and the Deputy Chief Moderator shall be established in the clauses below: [Clause Two] - A committee of the Chamber of Provincial Emissary shall first be established if they believe the Chief Moderator is doing supposed wrongdoing in their view - of which members of the Chamber of Provincial Emissary shall be able to vote on a motion set forward by a member of the Chamber which if passed through a simple majority on the motion shall establish a committee that shall allow them to see exactly what the Chief Moderator is doing. [Clause Three] - The committee shall be jointly chosen by the Prime Minister of Salanda and the Leader of the Opposition of Salanda and shall consist of three members, two appointed by the Government and one by the Opposition. [Clause Four] - The committee shall be immune throughout their duration from legal action by the Chief Moderator and shall only be able to be removed by the Chamber of Provincial Emissary through a simple majority motion. [Clause Five] - If after at least one week of investigation the committee may legally make a recommendation to the Chamber by voting on a recommendation with all 3 members of the committee being required to vote aye or nay to approve a report to remove the Chief Moderator, if the report is in favour of removing the Chief Moderator a vote on a motion to remove the Chief Moderator shall automatically be called the Speaker of the Chamber of Provincial Emissary or their Deputy if they are standing in for them.  [Clause Six] - If the Chamber of Provincial Emissary votes in favour to remove the Chief Moderator through a simple majority - they shall be removed but the motion fails then this procedure cannot be used again for at least another six months. [Clause Seven] - This same procedure may also be used to remove the Deputy Chief Moderator with all the same clauses applying to Deputy Chief Moderator too when used. ~ Section Two - Clarifying the procedure ~ [Clause One] - As aforementioned this shall be the sole and only procedure to remove the Chief Moderator, no other procedure shall be legal to remove the Chief Moderator and the Deputy Chief Moderator other than the one mentioned in this Act of Tepoelan. ~ Section Three  - Mistakes within this Act ~ [Clause One] - Should there be any mistakes or grammatical errors within this Act that need cleaning up if it is contradictory - the Ministry of the Interior of Salanda led by the Home Secretary of Salanda shall be responsible for clearing up such errors if there are any that are contradictory in line with the ruling that was issued by the Supreme Court of Salanda on the 18 November 2024 in which it was ruled by the Court that the Ministry of the Interior of Salanda may fix typos and other errors that are contradictory to make them make sense. [Clause Two] - However this remains strictly to actual grammatical errors and contradictory text not revised to suit interpretation and interests which are illegal. ~ Section Four   – Entry of this Act of Tepoelan into the Law of Salanda ~ [Clause One] - This Act of Tepoelan shall become effective as a law of Salanda upon the signing of this Act of Tepoelan after being passed by the Chamber of Provincial Emissary of the Tepoelan and as such this Act of Tepoelan shall become enforceable as a law of Salanda upon the Royal Seal of Salanda being placed upon this Act of Tepoelan. ~ Section Five  – Status of this Act of Tepoelan as a Law of Salanda ~ [Clause One] - This Act of Tepoelan cannot be repealed or amended by an Executive Order of Salanda and as such can only be repealed or amended by another Act of Tepoelan or by an Amendment to the Constitution of Salanda also known as the Basic Foundation Laws (of Salanda).
